Haleem


Ingredients:

1 cup wheat rava
1 cup moong dal
1 cup mash ki dal
200gm chicken
2tbsp chilly  powder
1/2tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2tbsp cooking oil
50 gm curd
Some mint leaves
Some coriander leaves
Black Pepper seeds
Patta and lowang
Some Phool Patha
Cashew Nuts
Almonds
Lemon
Tomatoes
Onions


Method:

Fry wheat rava, moong dal, and mash ki dal in the pan till they turn brown in color.  Wash chicken and add  fried rava and dals  in the  cooker to boil. Wait till 3 whistles or 5 minutes.

Pour oil in another pan and turn the simmer on.  Cut and fry tomatoes in oil  along with onion pieces. Add chilly and turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and patta  lowang with some phool Patha to make the gravy.

Now open the cooker and mix the chicken, dals, and rava with a hand mixer or an egg mixer till the content in it becomes like a thick paste with flesh and bones separated. Add few black pepper seeds, cashew nuts, almonds, and the gravy.

Garnish the dish with fried onion pieces, mint and coriander leaves. Serve it hot in a bowl with lemon slices.
